National Retirement Planning Expert, Author Choate Coming to Akron

AKRON, Ohio, May 9 -- Akron Community Foundation issued the following news release:
Natalie Choate, a nationally known retirement planning expert and author of "Life and Death Planning for Retirement Benefits," will speak at the Hilton Akron/FairlawnJune 13 from 7:30 to 11 a.m.Akron Community Foundation'sProfessional Advisor Council will host the event, which is Choate's only slated appearance in Ohio this year.
Legal, insurance and financial advisors are invited to hear what Choate terms the "201 best and worst retirement planning ideas," as well as common IRA mistakes and how they can be avoided. She will also highlight opportunities for charitable giving using retirement assets. Attendees can register to receive three continuing education credits, which will be offered by the Ohio Department of Insurance, Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. and the Supreme Court of Ohio.
"Ms. Choate is the ultimate technician in planned giving for retirement benefits," said Rob Malone, partner at Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs and chair of the advisor council at the community foundation. "Local advisors are lucky to have this opportunity to hear from her right here in our backyard."
