National Association of Insurance Commissioners Names Christian Carter Director of Member Services, Engagement

WASHINGTON, June 22 (TNSPer) -- The National Association of Insurance Commissioners issued the following news release on June 21, 2021:
The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) announces Christian Carter as the association's new Director of Member Services and Engagement. Carter started her new role June 14, 2021, and will be based in Kansas City, MO. As the Director of Member Services and Engagement, Carter will oversee the Members Services, Meetings & Events, and Education & Training teams.
The NAIC Member Services division brings state insurance regulators together, providing tools and resources to help them set standards and best practices. The division performs several functions, including regulatory support services and education for consumers and stakeholders on U.S. state-based insurance regulation, as well as maintains membership and committee records of NAIC activity.
Carter has nearly 15 years of experience in insurance and financial services, with a significant portion of that time focused on association membership and relationship management. She joins the NAIC from the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA).
Carter earned a master's degree in public administration and a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, MI). She holds the following designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Claims (AIC), and Associate in General Insurance (AINS).
