Raymond Nazarian, 39, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 2:06 a.m. Dec. 8 on charges of driving while revoked or suspended and failure to show proof of insurance. Officer Alexis Johnson.

Casondra Sanders, 48, Hattiesburg, Miss., was ticketed at 6:22 p.m. Dec. 8 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign.

A 17-year-old driver from Mtn. View, whose identifying information is not released due to law enforcement policies to protect minors, was ticketed at 6:58 p.m. Dec. 8 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Kris Reinholdt.

Rondall Santhuff, 33, Centerville, was ticketed at 12:02 a.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to show proof of insurance. Officer Johnson.

Cole Cornman, 28, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 5:35 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to show proof of insurance. Officer Kaleb Berkshire.

Vernetta Frost, 66, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 7:31 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Berkshire.

James Weaver, 59, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 7:53 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Berkshire.

Kayla Felts, 34, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 8:54 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Berkshire.

Lauren Thompson, 37, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 9:21 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Berkshire.

Stacy Hugg, 56, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 9:51 p.m. Dec. 9 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Berkshire.

Eli Moore, 18, Mtn. View, was ticked at 10:11 p.m. Dec. on on charges of failure to obey a stop sign and failure to show proof of insurance. Officer Berkshire.

Michael Hines, 35, Jackson, was ticketed at 9:32 a.m. Dec. 10 on a charge of speeding by 16-19 mph over. Officer Matthew Combs.

Raegene Mayo, 82, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 12:11 p.m. Dec. 11 on a charge of speeding by 20-25 mph over. Officer Combs.

A 17-year-old driver from Winona was ticketed at 9:06 p.m. Dec. 11 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign. Officer Israel Guidry.

Ezra Grainer, 25, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 8:46 p.m. Dec. 13 on a charge of failure to obey a stop sign.

Brianna Martin, 24, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 4:48 p.m. Dec. 14 on a charge of failure to show proof of insurance.

Dana Bennett, 55, Pilot Knob, was ticketed at 11:18 p.m. Dec. 15 on a charge of failure to register a motor vehicle. Officer Johnson.

Broc Bay, 19, Summersville, was ticketed at 3:03 a.m. on charges of driving while intoxicated by alcohol, careless and imprudent driving, and driving while suspended or revoked.

Sierra Voyles, 24, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 3:05 a.m. Dec. 16 on a charge of driving while intoxicated by alcohol.

Caleb Baker, 19, Birch Tree, was ticketed at 12:11 a.m. Dec. 17 on charges of being a minor in possession of an open container and possessing drug paraphernalia. Officer Johnson.

Timothy Ringuette, 30, Mtn. View, was ticketed at 9:05 a.m. Dec. 18 on a charge of speeding by 20-25 mph over. Officer Combs.

Shelby Moats, 31, Santa Monica, Calif., was ticketed at 9:45 p.m. Dec. 20 on a charge of speeding by 6-10 mph. Cpl. Trenton Roberts.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

Officer Berkshire spoke to a woman on Dec. 8 who said she was stopped the night prior and told her license plate was out, but when she went to fix it the next day, the light was working. The officer said footage would be reviewed to see if the license plate was readable from 50 feet out, and she said she would stop by the police station that evening to have it checked.

On Dec. 8, Officer Berkshire cleared debris from the road.

Officer Johnson spoke to two people walking on the road in dark clothing on Dec. 9 and asked them to walk on the sidewalk if one was available.

On Dec. 9, Officer Reinholdt conducted a well-being check and the subject of the check said she was OK.

A woman spoke to an officer on Dec. 9 about trouble she and her husband were having with their son's behavior, and was advised to contact juvenile services if the behavior continued.

On Dec. 9, a man called the police department because he could not contact a relative living in Mtn. View, and was given contact information for a family member.

A person reported another person had his phone. Officer Reinhold spoke to the accused, who allowed a search. No phone was found.

A caller reported a deer in the road on Dec. 9 and requested help getting it off the road. Officer Reinholdt responded and they were able to drag the deer into the woods.

On Dec. 9, a person reported his mailbox had exploded. Officer Reinholdt found bottle rocket pieces in and around the mailbox, and the back side of the box was blown out.

Officer Reinholdt took a report on Dec. 10 of a single-car crash for insurance purposes.

On Dec. 10, Officer Combs assisted the Children's Division with an interview.

Officer Combs took a report Dec. 10 on behalf of the Shannon County Sheriff's Office.

On Dec. 10, a man went to the police station to report harassing messages, but as he lived outside of city limits, he was advised to contact his county law enforcement.

Officer Combs assisted the state fire marshal's office on Dec. 11.

On Dec. 11, a man called the police station to inquire if he could sight his firearm within city limits. Officer Combs advised the man he could not.

A woman called police Dec. 11 to ask if a black Labrador mixed breed dog had been turned in. Officer Combs contacted animal control and found no animal matching that description had been turned in.

On Dec. 11, Officer Guidry responded to a scene where an extremely intoxicated woman was having a seizure. He assisted in keeping her safe until an ambulance arrived and took the woman to the Mercy St. Francis Hospital emergency room.

Officer Robert Poindexter secured the golf course gates on Dec. 11.

On Dec. 12, Officer Berkshire responded to an alarm call, checked the building and found everything to be secured.

Officer Berkshire responded on Dec. 12 to a collision in which a Head Start bus was hit by a truck pulling a trailer. No report was needed.

On Dec. 12, Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates.

Officer Poindexter was dispatched Dec. 12 to S&S Recycle for a suspicious person reported after the business' manager had let her dogs out after hours and heard someone. The area was searched but no one was found.

On Dec. 13, Officer Poindexter was dispatched for a verbal dispute between a man and woman. He found two separate homes located at the address he was given, and stopped at the first one, where a man said he was looking for the house behind his. He spoke to the man in the second house, who said he was waiting for a ride to pick him up so he could leave.

Officer Poindexter was dispatched Dec. 13 for an alarm call. He checked the area, found the doors secure, and no one was located on or in the property.

On Dec. 13, Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates.

Officer Poindexter was dispatched on Dec. 13 to an active domestic disturbance in which both parties were separated and declined to press charges on one another.

On Dec. 13, Officer Poindexter gave a courtesy ride to a man from the gas station.

Officer Poindexter responded on Dec. 14 to a residential alarm call, and was met at the door by a man who had accidentally set off his alarm.

On Dec. 14, Assistant Chief Stetson Schwien was dispatched to Y Highway for a report of a stranded motorist. As he arrived, the driver was able to get the vehicle moving again and got it off the road.

A citizen called police on Dec. 14 to inquire about requirements for driving a side-by-side within city limits.

On Dec. 14, an officer took information from a crash scene for an accident report.

A verbal disturbance between neighbors was reported on Dec. 14. The argument was regarding property, and an officer responded to take a report.

On Dec. 14, Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates.

An officer was on patrol Dec. 15 in the area of East Fifth Street and noticed a few bags missing from the donation area at the thrift store there. The owners were called and advised to add security to the area and put up cameras so they can see who is stealing the donations.

On Dec. 15, a man stopped in the police station with information regarding an earlier verbal disturbance, and said his son had started the disagreement between the neighbors, but he would not try to talk to them again.

Dispatch provided Assistant Chief Schwien with contact information for a caller with questions about legally operating a side-by-side on city streets. He returned that call and provided information on Dec. 15.

On Dec. 15, Assistant Chief Schwien was contacted by police in Enid, Okla., regarding two missing people who might be in Mtn. View. He was given their names and personal details, and a possible location. He was able to make contact wit the two people and determine they were safe and sound. He notified Oklahoma police and the missing persons alert was cleared.

Assistant Chief Schwien provided a funeral escort on Dec. 15.

On Dec. 15, Cpl. Roberts spoke to a man regarding child custody during a separation from his wife and provided information.

Dispatch reported a suspicious man walking down West Fourth Street with a flashlight on Dec. 15. An officer located the man, who said he was looking for his lost phone.

On Dec. 15, an officer spoke with a man and his daughter in the Computers and More parking lot, as they were taking unwanted TVs and monitors. The man said he had been given permission by the owner. The officer tried unsuccessfully to contact the owner.

Officer Johnson checked and secured an abandoned building that had been found with an open door on Dec. 16.

On Dec. 16, a person inquired what to do about someone stealing things from them. Officer Johnson provided information and a complaint form.

Cpl. Roberts was asked by the Howell County Sheriff's Office on Dec. 17 to check on a vehicle parked on a county road just outside of Mtn. View. The vehicle was found and had not been entered into the law enforcement database as stolen. Deputies arrived and took over the vehicle.

On Dec. 17, an officer was dispatched for a verbal disagreement, and both parties said they were fine.

Officer Combs was dispatched Dec. 17 to a call regarding a youth taking her grandmother's car without permission. He spoke with the youth about it.

On Dec. 17, Officer Combs was dispatched to a custody exchange in which parents were disagreeing about putting a child in a car seat. He got them to agree and the child was put in a car seat.

A woman reported on Dec. 18 she found camera lenses on her property and believed them to be stolen. Officer Combs picked the items up.

On Dec. 18 Officer Combs received a call that a man was trying to pick his child up from school and teachers believed he was under influence. The officer spoke to the man and determined he was fine.

Cpl. Roberts was dispatched on Dec. 18 to Valley View Apartments for a child who arrived home from school with no adults home to look after the child. He spoke to the reporting party who said the matter had been resolved.

On Dec. 18, Cpl. Roberts spoke to a caller who wanted information about property being released from a case from four years ago. Information was taken.

A person called on Dec. 18 for a well-being check on his child who lives with his ex, but was unable to provide an address, so officers were unable to do a well-being check.

On Dec. 18, Cpl. Roberts was dispatched to an auto accident, but once on the scene, could find no vehicle or evidence of a crash.

A man called police on Dec. 18 to inform them he had gotten his daughter's camper out of impound in Springfield and he believed there was stolen property inside and wanted to let authorities know. The man called back a bit later to say he had found more property that he wanted an officer to look at. Cpl. Roberts.

Cpl. Roberts was dispatched on Dec. 18 to an area just west of city limits for a reported wrong-way driver, but the vehicle was not found.

On Dec. 18, Cpl. Roberts was dispatched for a vehicle parked near the reporting party's house. After checking the area, he found the vehicle parked at a neighbor's house.

Cpl. Roberts found a vehicle broken down at the intersection of East Fifth Street and U.S. 60. He contacted a tow truck.

On Dec. 19, Officer Combs responded to a gas station for a gas drive-off.

A man reported his sister's property was being stolen on Dec. 19. Officer Berkshire spoke with all parties and found the property belonged to the man who took it.

On Dec. 19, Cpl. Roberts found a vehicle with a blown-out tire and helped with putting on a spare tire.

Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates on Dec. 19.

On Dec. 19, Officer Guidry responded to an alarm call at Dollar General and the building was secured.

While doing building checks on Dec. 20, Officer Poindexter noticed an unlocked door. He checked and secured the building.

On Dec. 20, Officer Berkshire took a report of an auto crash.

Officer Guidry took a report on Dec. 20 for an auto crash.

On Dec. 20, Officer Guidry was dispatched to a business for an ex-employee refusing to leave, but the person was gone when he arrived.

Officer Poindexter secured the golf course gates on Dec. 20.

On Dec. 20, a woman reported she thought someone had been in her home. Officer Guidry responded and did a complete walk-through that showed no one had been inside and nothing was missing.

Officer Poindexter assisted Howell County Sheriff's deputies with a traffic stop on Dec. 20.
