Meridian Choice to Offer Lowest Cost Bronze and Silver Health Insurance Plans in Greater Flint and Kalamazoo Areas Beginning November 1, 2015

DETROIT, Oct. 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Meridian Choice continues to put care first by offering the lowest price Health Insurance Marketplace plans in its expanded service area. The lowest priced Bronze and Silver health insurance plans, along with the competitively priced Gold and Catastrophic plans, are available to members beginning November 1, 2015.

An overall rate decrease of 12.6 percent and the introduction of the new Meridian Choice "Healthy" product family means consumers have more affordable options when shopping for 2016 health insurance coverage through the Marketplace.

Open enrollment for 2016 coverage begins November 1, 2015 and ends January 31, 2016. To get coverage starting January 1, 2016, you must enroll by December 15, 2015. You are unable to get insurance through the Marketplace at any other time, except under certain circumstances.
