McKinley Votes to Repeal and Replace Obamacare

Congressman David B. McKinley, P.E., (WV-1) released the following statement after voting for the American Health Care Act, legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare.

"All across the country, soaring premiums, skyrocketing deductibles, and limited healthcare choices because of Obamacare have devastated working families. I have listened to constituents and stakeholders who have raised concerns about the current healthcare system and one thing has been made perfectly clear; it's collapsing. Obamacare is a complete train wreck and doing nothing is completely unacceptable," McKinley said.

"Today, the House took an important step towards keeping our promise to reform healthcare. Let's give the Senate a chance to review and improve the bill so we can move the process forward. Everyone deserves access to affordable, quality healthcare coverage and that is exactly what we are trying to deliver," said McKinley.
