MAXIMUS Pledges $100,000 to Support Storm Harvey Disaster Recovery Efforts

MAXIMUS has thousands of employees in multiple operations across Texas. Under contracts with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), MAXIMUS provides operational support for many of the state's programs including Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and others. The Company also assists the Texas Office of the Attorney General (TXOAG) in delivering child support services and provides enrollment broker services for the state's Medicaid managed care population.

MAXIMUS has been working closely with HHSC to support Texas beneficiaries that have been impacted. Call center hours have been extended and Saturday hours are now available at the state's 211 Eligibility Support and Enrollment Broker call centers. An outreach call effort has been initiated so that all beneficiaries in impacted areas or those that have relocated can receive the care they need at this critical time.
