Maryland Dem Gov Candidate Kevin Kamenetz Remains Silent on Jealous-Sanders State Run ‘Medicare-for-All’ Plan

WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 -- The Republican Governors Association issued the following news release:
On Wednesday, Maryland Democrat candidate for governor Ben Jealous released his Bernie Sanders backed "medicare-for-all" plan, which would have the state of Maryland run its own single-payer healthcare system. Jealous refused to detail how much it would cost.
But Kevin Kamenetz, along with other Democrat candidates for governor, remained silent on Jealous' reckless plan, refusing to weigh in even as Jealous proposed a policy that could ban private insurance in the state and kill jobs.
This is the first litmus test of the gubernatorial primary for Democrat candidates - do they agree with Ben Jealous that Maryland should pass massive tax hikes to pay for a government run healthcare system?
It's time for Ben Jealous to put numbers behind his radical spending plans, and it's time for his fellow Democrat gubernatorial candidates to weigh in.
