Liberty Appoints Jennie Beard to War and Terrorism Team

LONDON, Oct. 31 -- Liberty Specialty Markets, a specialty and commercial insurance and reinsurance provider, which is a part of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group, issued the following news release:
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM), part of Liberty Mutual Insurance, has appointed Jennie Beard to the new role of Senior Underwriter - War and Terrorism. Based in LSM's London headquarters, she will report to Paul Beattie, Underwriting Manager - War & Terrorism.
Michael Burle, LSM's Head of Marine, said: "With the solid growth in War and Terrorism business we're seeing, we are expanding our underwriting team in order to better serve our brokers and clients. Jennie is a well-respected market practitioner and has a strong track record in this sensitive and complex line of business. Her arrival gives us real strength in depth plus additional insight into key territories."
Jennie joins from Sompo Canopius, where she was co-head of its London-based Terrorism team, writing a diverse global account including major corporate clients.
