LETTERS: Egregious commutation decisions; repeal and replace Obamacare

Gazette, The (CO)

Egregious commutation decisions

Ensuring his political exit is as ignoble as it is graceless, President Barack Obama commuted the sentence of Pvt. Chelsea Manning, whose treasonous behavior in any other time would have resulted in her being hanged. To understand Obama's thinking in these egregious decisions we must consider his apology tour back in 2009, wherein he cogently made the hard left's case that America has been an imperialist nation, arrogantly subjugating defenseless countries.
