Jeffery Allan Atterberg, 55, Keokuk, was arrested at 2480 330th St., Keokuk, at 11:58 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic abuse assault (first offense). He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Nicole Lee Ahlen Prado, 41, Donnellson, was arrested at 10:95 p.m. Sunday on a warrant charging her with violating a no-contact order. At the time of her arrest, she was charged with another count of the same charge. She was jailed.
Hunter John West, 18, Argyle, was arrested at 9:12 p.m. Sunday and charged with fourth degree criminal mischief (involving property valued between $300 and $750). He was jailed.
Jessie Maxine Hocker, 41, Montrose, was arrested at Highway 61 and Johnson Street, Keokuk, at 8:32 p.m. Friday and charged with driving while barred and failing to provide proof of liability insurance. She was taken to the jail, but released on her own recognizance at 9:41 a.m. Saturday.
Pamela Sue Ruiz, 37, Avenue M, Fort Madison, was arrested on two mittimus warrants at 701 Ave., F, Fort Madison, at 4:05 p.m. Friday. She was jailed, but released for time served at 3:52 p.m. Saturday.
Donald Ray Junior Bauswell, 39, Keokuk, was arrested on two mittimus warrants at 9:33 a.m. Friday. He was jailed, but released at 9:42 a.m. Sunday per an agreement that his time be served on weekends.
Thomas Ray Ruble, 54, Avenue J,. Fort Madison, Avenue J, Fort Madison, was arrested as a fugitive from justice at 8:52 a.m. Friday. He was jailed.
Deborah Christine Armstrong, 65, Donnellson, was cited and released for operating a vehicle while intoxicated at 6:58 p.m. Thursday.
A 17-year-old male from Mount Pleasant was arrested at 4:02 p.m. Sunday at the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with assaulting a law enforcement officers and others. No injuries were reported. At 8 pm.. Sunday, at the detention center, he was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief. He is being held at the detention center for juvenile court.
Accidents
Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Highway 218 for an accident at 12:47 a.m. Saturday involving a passenger car, driven by Lindsay Michelle Pliapol, 21, of Port Orange, Fla. According to the accident report, Pliapol said she was driving north on Highway 218 when a coyote came up from the median and ran in front of the vehicle. Pliapol struck the animal which caused disabling damage to the front of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed. Pliapol and her passengers were not injured.
Deputies were called to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 218 at 12:09 p.m. Friday involving a passenger van, driven by Ashley Ann Ruffcorn, 36, Donnellson, and a SUV, driven by Tamisue Lynn Simmons, 50, Donnellson, According to the accident report, both drivers were on the frontage road to Central Lee High School when Ruffcorn ran into the back of Simmons' vehicle, No injuries were reported.
