John Patin Joins Somers Group as Chief Investment Officer

Somers taps industry veteran to oversee investment activities

Somers Group Holdings Ltd. (Somers) today announced the appointment of John Patin IV as Chief Investment Officer (CIO). Patin is responsible for overseeing Somers’ overall investment strategy and directing investment managers.

Patin has over two decades of experience managing investments for (re)insurance companies. He most recently served as the Senior Investment Officer for Starr Insurance Companies, and he has also held senior investment positions at Allied World Assurance Company and Alterra Capital Holdings.
