Joe McDonald Joins International Risk Management Institute as Captive and Risk Finance Product Manager

DALLAS, Texas, July 11 -- The International Risk Management Institute issued the following news release:
International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI), is pleased to announce that Joe McDonald has joined the editorial team as the captive and risk finance product manager. Mr. McDonald will be responsible for overseeing the management and development of Captive.com and IRMI's product suite of captive and risk financing resources.
Prior to joining IRMI, Mr. McDonald served 12 years with the South Carolina Department of Insurance in various roles, with the past 4 years as a captive licensing coordinator. In this role, he was directly involved in reviewing captive licensing applications and other aspects of captive insurance regulation enforcement.
Mr. McDonald has been active in the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), serving on its NEXTGen Committee and speaking on a panel at the annual conference. He holds a bachelor of science degree in philosophy and religious studies from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and a master of arts degree in religious studies from the University of South Carolina.
