In most instances this will involve about a three (3) day period. Coordinate with the Chief of Facilities Management in advance any shut-down which will occur, and which will affect, for any period of time, patient care areas and/or equipment. Only after the Engineering Division staff is fully informed and has agreed to the schedule of shut-downs, and the Chief has approved such actions, can the work then proceed accordingly. Again, in most instances, this will involve about a three (3) day period. Energized work permits will be required for any work in energized equipment and all work will be done in compliance with and meeting the standards set forth in NFPA 70E. Requests for energized work permits shall be submitted at least three (3) work days prior to date when work is scheduled to be executed. The Contractor will pay all fees/charges/bills/invoices/etc. associated with any sub-contractors they may use or needed in the execution of this work including the electrical utility, BrightRidge.
