It's Open Enrollment Time for ALA's New Healthcare Plan

Targeted News Service (Press Releases)

DALLAS, Texas, Dec. 28 -- The American Lighting Association issued the following news release:

January is the perfect time to enroll in ALA's brand new healthcare plan, which is a newly developed national program being offered exclusively to ALA members for the first time. While the plan begins Jan. 1, 2024, ALA members can join on the first of any month.

The ALA Members Health Plan is designed for individuals who need to purchase healthcare coverage for themselves as well as for companies providing coverage for their employees. Plans are available at affordable rates for companies of all sizes, from one individual to more than 1,000 employees.

The ALA Members Health Plan covers physician and hospital visits, prescription medications, laboratory services, and diagnostic tests. Developed in collaboration with Next Level Insurance Agency and Health Cooperative Strategies, the plan leverages the purchasing power of the association to provide healthcare benefits at competitive and affordable rates, with premiums as low as $306 per month.

"The rising costs of healthcare affect all of us and have been especially challenging for our independent showroom and manufacturer representative members," said ALA President and CEO Larry Lauck. "We are excited to offer a cost-effective, high-quality health plan. We hope this program will not only help our members save money, but also allow ALA-member companies to create competitive benefits packages for their employees to help them attract and retain talent."

The ALA Members Health Plan offers multiple designs, a wide selection of deductibles, and low-cost options making it easy for members to find the right fit. The plan provides access to a broad, nationwide network of healthcare providers, physicians, and pharmacies. Those interested in seeing if their current providers are within network may contact ALA's dedicated agent Danny O'Connell at Next Level Insurance Agency at [email protected] or (469) 329-0777. Additional information about ALA and membership are available online at ALAMembers.com.
