ITC Debuts Inaugural InsurTech Scholarship

Insurance Technologies Corporation (ITC), a provider of agency marketing, rating and management software and services, announced today the debut of an annual scholarship program to support the future of the insurance industry.

For the 2016-17 school year, ITC will award one $1,000 scholarship to a current college student who plans to work in the insurance industry upon his or her graduation. Applicants must submit a 1,500-word essay about the impact of technology on the insurance industry over the next five years.

"The next great idea in the insurance industry will come from the upcoming generation and how they look at and use technology," said Laird Rixford, president of ITC. The deadline to apply for the InsurTech Scholarship from ITC is September 30, 2016. Any student currently enrolled in college and who wants to work in the insurance industry is eligible for consideration.
