In The Car Selects Earnix to Accelerate Expansion of Point-of-Sale Auto Insurance
Automotive insurance innovator turns to Earnix to scale from two states into 18 additional markets while reducing pricing and filing complexity
Earnix, the AI company purpose-built for insurance, today announced that In The Car (ITC), a provider of digitally integrated insurance programs for automotive OEMs and dealerships, has selected Earnix’s Price-It pricing and rating solution and Filing Accelerator to accelerate its expansion into new markets across
ITC currently operates in two states and is preparing to expand into additional US markets as it scales insurance offered directly within the vehicle-buying journey. Its model enables OEMs and dealerships to offer customers coverage at the point of sale, creating a more integrated experience while opening new opportunities for automotive partners to deepen customer relationships.
As ITC’s expansion accelerated, it needed pricing and filing capabilities that could scale with it. Earnix will replace their manual processes with business-managed pricing and filing capabilities designed to reduce reliance on IT, accelerate rate development and filing, and give ITC greater flexibility as it enters new markets.
Using Price-It, ITC’s business teams will be able to build, test and manage pricing directly, respond faster to changing market requirements, and incorporate additional market and competitive intelligence into future pricing decisions.
Earnix Filing Accelerator will further compress the path from pricing decision to market by automating filing documentation and helping keep filed and production rates aligned.
“The opportunity is to make insurance a seamless part of the vehicle-buying experience and scale that proposition across more dealerships and markets,” said
“In The Car is rethinking how auto insurance reaches customers,” said
