LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Imprivata^® (NYSE: IMPR), the healthcare IT security company, today announced that University of Utah Health Care will implement Imprivata PatientSecure, the positive patient identification platform for healthcare, to eliminate duplicate medical records and improve patient safety. As part of the deployment, the University of Utah Health Care system will install the Imprivata positive patient identification platform across their enterprise, including 4 university hospitals and 11 community clinics that facilitate nearly 1.6 million patient visits per year.
