Holzapfel remains as education board president
Holzapfel, who was elected to the board in 2008 and was immediately selected president, will serve her seventh consecutive term at the helm in 2016.
Holzapfel, laughing at the motion to immediate close nominations once her name was called, said she wasn't sure if the four other board members truly think she's really good at being president, or they just don't want the job.
"I don't mind serving," she said, after accepting the pos tion. "It's always been a pleasure."
