Hippo Partners with Spinnaker Insurance to Expand US Footprint

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hippo, the California-based insurtech company that is transforming home insurance for savvy homeowners, today announced its strategic partnerships with Spinnaker Insurance Company. Through the partnership, Hippo will expand to new states, bringing its smart home coverage to more than 60 percent of the U.S. population by the end of the year.

Hippo will leverage Spinnaker's highly-rated and widely-licensed admitted platform to deliver its modern home and condo insurance products to an expanded audience nationwide. Texas homeowners are the first to benefit from the deal, as Hippo launched its products in the Lone Star State in late December.
