Highmark Names Lori Herzog Third-Party Administrator (TPA) Segment President

Highmark Inc. announced that Lori Herzog has been named TPA segment president to guide its third-party administrator (TPA) line of business that helps self-insured employers control the health plan and products they offer their employees, process claims, and potentially lower costs.

"With deep knowledge of the TPA business and a proven history of creating innovative solutions for public and private-sector employers alike, Lori is the right person to guide and grow business."

Herzog has held a variety of senior and executive-level leadership positions during her more than 30 years in the health insurance industry, including at ACM Holdings, Meritain and Optum. She has served as an advisory board member for MidAmerica and has also been a senior consultant for Medica Health Plan. Her signature skills include new sales growth strategy, employee and client retention, operational excellence, process re-engineering and contract negotiation. Herzog earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Minnesota State University.
