The requirement is for providing Health Insurance (RFP# 19TD55-21-R-0001) to locally employed staff of the U.S. Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago. The estimated number of employees is one hundred and four (104) of which 32 are single, 12 are married plus spouse, 6 are single plus one dependent (child) and 54 are family (3 or more individuals). Please note that these are estimated quantities. The anticipated performance period is for a base year with four (4) one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Note: The response date in this synopsis/solicitation advert is not a firm date, please see the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the actual date. The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an Indefinite-Delivery/Requirements type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference is in the solicitation.
