On Tuesday, President Biden signed a new Executive Order to fix the "family glitch", help more Americans enroll in quality health insurance coverage, improve the quality of coverage, and strengthen benefits under Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.

Nearly 4 million Americans are unable to afford health insurance because they live in one of the 12 states that refuse to adopt the ACA expansion of Medicaid. Millions more continue to struggle to obtain the care they need, due to the high costs of care. This executive order is a step forward, but the work continues."
