Last week it was announced that inflation in the United States for October was lower than expected, with an annual rate of 7.76 percent and a monthly rate of 0.43 percent. The logic behind the increases in stock prices is that the Federal Reserve is likely to slow the pace of the next interest rate hikes after it announces its decision on December 14.
