HAI Group Names New Chief Operating Officer, Further Expands C-Suite with Chief Legal and Compliance Officer Hire

HAI Group, the nation's leading member-owned property-casualty insurance company for the affordable housing industry, announced today that it has named a new chief operating officer and a new chief legal and compliance officer.

Troy LePage, the company's chief financial officer, will assume the additional role of chief operating officer. In this newly expanded role, LePage is responsible for the overall operations of the company, including strategic leadership of the company's finance, information technology, and security functions. He joined HAI Group in 2017 and has held a variety of senior-level positions at the company, including director of enterprise compliance and chief compliance officer. Before that, LePage was a senior manager at Deloitte LLP, where he focused on the financial services and insurance industries. Holding both a master's and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut, he is also a Certified Public Housing Manager (C-PHM) and Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut. LePage maintains his Property and Casualty Insurance Producer and Surplus Lines Broker licenses.

Anthony (Tony) Corleto was named HAI Group's chief legal and compliance officer. In this newly created role, Corleto is responsible for overseeing the company's legal and regulatory compliance operations as well as claims, governance, and internal audit. Corleto joins HAI Group from Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, where he served as partner. He brings more than 20 years of experience serving nationwide nonprofits, the insurance industry, licensed professionals, and a diverse range of clients. His vast legal experience includes success in complex litigation and class actions, including professional liability, intellectual property, transactions, civil rights, and employment. He has served as outside general counsel for the national Pop Warner Football organization, a nationwide environmental consultancy, and various other business concerns. During his tenure at Wilson Elser, Corleto defended cases on behalf of HAI Group and spoke on various panels at HAI Group's annual seminar for housing authority defense attorneys. He earned his juris doctorate from Pace University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in business administration from The College of Insurance co-op program. Corleto is admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut; the State of New York; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit; and U.S. District Courts in Connecticut and New York.
