Washington, D.C.Financial Services Forum President and CEO Amanda Eversole issued the following statement today after the Senate confirmed Kevin Warsh to serve as the Chair of the Federal Reserve:
"Kevin Warsh has demonstrated his deep understanding of the Fed's role in supporting U.S. economic prosperity. He also understands that a safe, sound and strong financial system benefits and protects all consumers. The Forum looks forward to working with Warsh to advance policies that ensure our banking system remains the best in the world. We thank Chairman Scott, Leader Thune, and President Trump for their work to quickly advance his nomination. The Forum applauds the Senate for their efforts ensure the Fed continues to maintain its independence while fulfilling its critical dual mandate."
