The Yahnundasis Golf Club and the Town of New Hartford have announced Fireworks over New Hartford will take place Saturday, July 4.
This year's fireworks has been made possible through donations from Utica National Insurance Group, Gates-Cole Insurance, and Northern Safety & Industrial, according to a news release.
This year's show will feature a "high aerial" display so that fireworks can be viewed from the surrounding areas. Residents who elect to watch the show from public areas are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing guidelines to help reduce the spread of COVID-19, and are asked to stay in their vehicles wherever possible.
The following areas have been designated as public parking zones for use by residents of the Mohawk Valley:
-- Utica National Insurance Company parking lot
-- Sangertown Square parking lot
-- Sherrill Brook Park
-- The grounds of the Yahnundasis Golf Club will be reserved for its members to maintain proper social distancing.
