Erie Insurance Executive Vice President of Claims & Customer Service announces retirement

U.S. Markets (Alternative Disclosure) via PUBT

ERIE, Pa., Oct. 26, 2023 - Lorianne "LA" Feltz, Erie Insurance (NASDAQ: ERIE) executive vice president of claims & customer service, today announced that she will retire from her role at the end of May 2024. Feltz has served on ERIE's executive team since 2016 and has been with the company since 1989.

She joined Erie Insurance in policy processing, working part-time as a student at Gannon University, and her career evolved through a series of positions of increasing responsibility in product development, marketing, field sales and claims management. Her leadership roles at ERIE included district sales manager and branch manager in Ohio and regional vice president covering ERIE's midwestestates. Feltz also served as senior vice president of Agency & Marketing and senior vice president of Customer Service.

In 2016, Feltz joined ERIE's executive team, leading Claims and Customer Service. Her team represents more than half of ERIE's workforce and carries much of the frontline responsibility for ERIE's "Above all in Service" promise.

In sharing the news Wednesday with employees, Erie Insurance President and CEO Tim NeCastro remarked that Feltz's longevity and impact are the kind ERIE envisions for every employee who comes in the door, and every leader who takes on that special responsibility.

"During her time with ERIE, LA has developed meaningful connections with countless employees, agents and customers and I'm especially heartened by the ways she has helped support and develop our employees," said NeCastro. "LA is passionate about women in leadership and has been an exceptional champion for diversity, equity and inclusion. She has also given countless hours to mentoring others throughout her tenure and has been a role model who inspires others to believe in themselves."

Throughout her career, Feltz has also been active in the industry and local community. She is chair of the United Way of Erie County (Pa.) board of directors and is a member of the board's endowment cabinet. She serves on the board of directors of the UPMC Hamot Health Foundation, where she is also a member of the governance committee. In addition, she serves on the board of governors for the Erie Philharmonic and is a member of the Erie Women's Fund and its "Above and Beyond" committee. She has a strong commitment to animal-related causes, including having volunteered for many years for the Canine Epilepsy Guardian Angels.

Feltz's advance notice provides time for the company to begin a search for her replacement, a process that will start immediately.
