Equis Financial educates families about living benefits of insurance

Jackson Advocate

Utilizing your life insurance policy while you live is the basic premise of Equis Financial owners, Iris and Robert Davis. The Davis' offer products via Sankofa Financial Services powered by Equis Financial.

Iris Davis serves as the Life Protection Specialist and Robert Davis is the marketing whiz behind Equis, a revolutionary insurance business based in Clinton, Mississippi. Iris is a native of Centerville, Mississippi and Robert is a California transplant by way of Arkansas. Starting their business in 2017, the Davis/Equis philosophy has been not to just sell life insurance but to educate people about the benefits of what life insurance can do for them while they are living their lives, not just waiting to die and have someone else benefit from those investments.

Offering Living Benefits is the insurance product that sets Equis Financial apart from traditional life insurance that only pays off when you die. Equis products allow you to put your policy to work for you while you live - with catastrophic illnesses such as stroke, cancer and heart attacks. Equis benefits are made available to policyholders when they need them the most as life events occur not at the end of life. "Life protection services is what we educate families about through Equis, our products make paying for a life insurance policy easier because you don't have to die for it to benefit you," says Iris Davis.

Equis also recruits Insurance Partners - not agents - via word of mouth, warm market referrals and Zip Recruiter. Equis Financial wants their Partners to build a business that they control. There are no start up costs, no back office fee, no weekly meeting, no securities license required to advance and commissions starts at 70%. Partners can be producers only or build a controlled business where they can write (5) out of (6) life insurance products with over (15) insurance contracted carriers such as National Life Group and Foresters. Additionally, Equis offers superb office support, online training pods, weekly conference training calls, e-apps and equity bonuses. Robert Davis proudly states, "We are the agents' company because we have zero startup costs and our Partners can have their own website with the capability to execute e-applications online through the Equis portal and obtain e-signatures. We only require that you become licensed in Mississippi by taking the state mandated insurance class and examination for licensure. And there is no cost to join Equis."

When asked why one should choose Equis Financial, Iris Davis said, "We don't want to take from our policyholders, we feel education is the key to making determinations about their strategic life insurance plans. Watching someone who has never been educated about products such as Index Universal Life that offer death and retirement benefits is gratifying. Once one family member is educated about Equis products and services then they are able to educate other family members. Frequently, our education process yields Equis Partners who become a part of our team as a producer or build their own team. Annuities are also a big part of our structure at Equis, which is a product that most insurance persons never discuss with families."

Other than providing protection in the event of premature death, can your life insurance policy: (1) Protect your income if you come down with a chronic or critical illness. (2) Serves as supplemental long-term care coverage. (3) Provide lifetime tax free income for retirement...If not call Iris Davis at 601-594-8100 she is licensed in MS, LA, AR, TX, TN, GA, FL and CA.
