EPIC Insurance Brokers add Josh Close in Birmingham

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- EPIC Insurance Brokers and Consultants announced that Josh Close has joined the firm's Birmingham-based national energy construction practice as a client services coordinator, reporting to EPIC Principal Brian Tanner.
Close will be involved in all aspects of client support, account rounding and relationship management; including needs assessment, risk management and insurance program design and placement, ongoing account management, program stewardship, and resource and vendor management.
Close joins EPIC from Bankers Life in Birmingham, where he was an agent, responsible for new business development and the oversight and management of client relationships.
"We are excited to further enhance EPIC's operations in Birmingham and the Southeast Region with Josh's addition," said Brian Tanner. "He is well regarded for his business development and needs assessment ability, and for building strong, positive relationships with clients, insurance companies and other business partners. Josh will be a terrific addition as we continue to build and strengthen our exceptional EPIC team here in Birmingham and across the country."
Close attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where he earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Business and Sports Management, and played varsity baseball as a member of the Liberty Flames.
