Edward Jones’ Penny Pennington Receives Inaugural Great Place to Work® for All Leadership Award

ST. LOUIS, March 8, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Penny Pennington, principal of Edward Jones' Client Strategies Group, recently was honored with a Great Place to Work for All Leadership award.

Pennington was one of the women leaders honored from companies on FORTUNE magazine's annual list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For and Best Workplaces for Women. The awards were announced by Great Place to Work at a gala on March 7, the eve of the 107^th International Women's Day, in San Francisco.

Edward Jones ranked No. 5 on FORTUNE magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work for 2018 and No. 3 on the Best Workplaces for Women list, also by FORTUNE magazine and the Great Place to Work.

Pennington was nominated by Edward Jones Managing Partner Jim Weddle for being a leader who has consistently played a critical role in helping the firm deliver on strategic growth and business goals by creating a high-trust culture and a great place to work.

Pennington is a member of the firm's Executive, Management and Audit committees and is a board member of the Edward Jones Trust Company. She also is a senior executive sponsor of the firm's LGBTA Business Resource Group.
