Likely the majority of the commissioners will hire a new city Manager who is a yes man or yes woman, instead of a forward, progressive thinker.
"Nutty" storm reporters bound to get hurt
Why do some TV reporters and meteorologists feel compelled to stand outside in the midst of a Category 4 hurricane to demonstrate how hard the wind is blowing?
Some time in the future one of these 'nuts' will get nailed in the head by an airborne 2 x 4 or get swept out to sea by the storm surge, all on live TV.

We have lived through more than two years of every day construction on our street. We were very patient.

This referendum calls for an ad valorem millage of 1.00 mills which will replace the expiring 0.25 mills. The impact on one's taxes will be minimal, but the benefits will be enormous, resulting in the hiring of 600 desperately needed new teachers and mental health professionals, raising teacher pay and help fund art, music and physical education classes.
Most importantly, every dollar garnered from this referendum will go to public schools only with oversight from an independent committee of citizens and experts.
