DeSantis Statement on House Vote to Repeal ObamaCare
Congressional Documents & Publications
Washington, DC - Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06), issued the following statement regarding passage of H.R. 3762, the Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act:
"ObamaCare has been like a bad dream for the American people. Promised significantly lower premiums, the ability to keep one's plan and choose one's doctor, and a better functioning health care system, ObamaCare has failed to deliver on these promises. Millions have lost their plans and access to their preferred doctors. Many more have seen their premiums and deductibles skyrocket. The 2,000-plus bill has driven consolidation in the insurance industry and gutted private medical practice. The law has failed and it is past time to jettison this bureaucracy-knows-best approach in favor of patient-centered reforms focusing on lowering costs for the American people."
