Linda J. Ward 69 of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday May 10, 2022 at Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born in Annapolis MarylandJanuary 9, 1953 a daughter of the late Ned and Iris McCoy Whitt.
She graduated from Severna Park High School class of 1971, and had been the executive secretary for BCT International Union in the DC area. Linda was an agent for Safe Auto Insurance Company in Woodsfield for 10 years. She loved the ocean, including boating, fishing, crabbing and eating all kinds of seafood in and around the Magothy River Maryland area.
She is survived by her life partner Douglas McKelvey of Clarington, Ohio, daughter Andrea (Kevin) Lamb of Arnold, Maryland, grandson Brendan Lamb of Maryland, nieces and nephews Darlene Wagner, Brian Whitt, Aaron Whitt, Sarah Whitt-Riddle, and great nephew Jeffrey Wagner, and great niece Kristin Wagner, and 2 great-great nieces.
Friends received from 6 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. Monday May 16, 2022 at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home100 S. Paul St.Woodsfield, Ohio with Rev. Susan Lehosky officiating. Interment at the convenience of the family. Condolences can be expressed at www.bauerturner.com.
