Cornerstone Capital Management Hires Industry Veteran James Wylie as Global Head of Distribution

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cornerstone Capital Management (“Cornerstone”), a global institutional advisory firm, today announced the appointment of James Wylie as senior vice president, global head of distribution. Mr. Wylie will lead the firm’s distribution, marketing, consultant relations and client service practices. This includes a primary focus on growing Cornerstone’s institutional business globally.

Mr. Wylie joins Cornerstone from Newton Capital Management LLC where, as head of North America, he led commercial sales, distribution and client servicing business in the region. Prior, Mr. Wylie oversaw business development as executive managing director and chief marketing officer at Turner Investment Partners. Additionally, he held the position of executive vice president, global head of sales and marketing at Acadian Asset Management where he was responsible for the firm’s global distribution efforts. Prior to joining Acadian, Jim held senior positions at Pilgrim Baxter & Associates, The Blackstone Group and Barclays Global Investors.

Mr. Wylie has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Colgate University and a Masters of Business Administration from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
