Congressman Lowenthal to Hold ‘Conversation About America’ Town Hall at Long Beach City College

WASHINGTON, March 9 -- Rep. Alan Lowenthal, D-Calif., issued the following news release:

Congressman Alan Lowenthal is inviting residents of the 47th District to join him for "A Conversation About America" town hall on Monday, March 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Long Beach City College.

Residents of the 47th District are encouraged to attend and ask the Congressman and his special guests questions on the important issues facing our nation, including:

--the future of the Affordable Care Act, Social Security, and Medicare

--immigration and refugee policy under the Trump Administration

--the ongoing fight to protect our environment

--the continuing struggle for civil rights & equality for all Americans
