SINGAPORE, Jan. 5 -- The Great American Insurance Group, a property and casualty insurance company, issued the following news release:
Great American Insurance Group announced that the Singapore Branch of its flagship insurer, Great American Insurance Company, has hired Mr. Choi Moon Kee as Director, Marine & Client Relationship Management. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic management of Marine underwriting and portfolio management within Asia. In addition, he will assist the CEO of Great American's Singapore Branch in leading the business toward its growth objectives within Asia.
Mr. Choi has over 20 years of experience within the marine insurance sector in Korea, undertaking roles in management, insurance underwriting and claims specializing in cargo/hull as well as casualty and engineering. Prior to this, he was the Head of Marine & Channel Management with ACE American Fire & Marine Insurance Company in Korea.
Mr. Choi holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce from Myongji University and a qualification for Technical Insurance Practice issued by the Chartered Insurance Institute, which is equivalent to the CII Diploma. He is also a certified Loss Adjuster by the regulation of Article 144 (Para 2) of rules for operation of Insurance Supervisory Regulations issued by the Insurance Supervisory Board.
