CaseWare Rebrands Financial Crime Risk Management and Continuous Controls Monitoring Solution to Alessa

PR Web

OTTAWA, Ontario (PRWEB) February 04, 2019

CaseWare RCM Inc, a division of CaseWare International, is pleased to announce that it has renamed its flagship solution for AML compliance, fraud detection and prevention, continuous controls monitoring (CCM) and procurement monitoring from CaseWare Monitor to Alessa.

Alessa, meaning noble defender, is a continuous controls and financial crimes risk management solution that allows organizations to quickly identify suspicious activities and high-risk entities in compliance, finance, purchasing and procurement programs. With early detection of elevated risk, Alessa allows organizations to investigate these activities early, make informed decisions, automatically create an auditable trail, comply with regulations and protect revenues.

Alessa is already trusted by banks, money services businesses, Fintechs, insurance, gaming, manufacturing and retail companies in over 20 countries to prevent money laundering, breaches in internal controls, purchase card (p-card) abuse, travel and entertainment (T&E) expenses fraud, and insurance fraud. Alessa is also used for sanctions screening of clients, transaction monitoring, retail store monitoring and taxation reporting and customs compliance.

One of the reasons that Alessa is quickly chosen by organizations is that it is a versatile and modular solution that can be quickly integrated with existing infrastructure and scales with organizations as their size and needs grow. Alessa also offers depth in functionality allowing organizations to use one solution for all their continuous controls monitoring, compliance and fraud prevention needs.

For example, as an AML solution Alessa offers customer due diligence, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and automated regulatory reporting for various jurisdictions. As a procurement monitoring solution, Alessa includes p-card and T&E expense monitoring functionality as well as vendor risk management and procurement controls monitoring. As a continuous controls monitoring solution, Alessa can do everything from ensuring the integrity of accounts receivables and payables accounts to purchasing and payroll monitoring.

Regardless of how the solution is used, Alessa includes advanced analytics that are AI-driven to detect complex fraud schemes across departments and systems; simple and configurable workflows that guide employees through policies and processes; and intuitive, easy-to-use case management tools that can be used across multiple departments for investigations, remediation and enrolling the entire organization in a culture of compliance.
