Feb. 22--MOULTRIE, Ga. -- Union Missionary Baptist Church, 103 Second St. N.W., will celebrate its annual black history program at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25. The Rev. Freddie Williams is pastor.
The speaker will be Acillen K. Watts of Albany.
Watts is the mother of three children. She is a dynamic speaker who specializes in advocating for children and the disadvantaged. She is a graduate of Valdosta State University, president of ASU Toastmaster Club 5091, a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a licensed insurance broker.
The theme for the event is "Hidden Figures."
Refreshments will be served.
