Sept. 29--TWIN FALLS -- An 18-year-old man crashed his car into Rock Creek Canyon early Thursday.
The driver, Aaron A. Epperson of Twin Falls, was cited with failure to report a crash involving damage to private property and failure to provide proof of insurance.
Sheriff's deputies say the crash happened about 1 a.m., and a nearby resident heard the crash and called police at 9:10 a.m. when the car was spotted in the canyon.
The car hit a sign on Borah Avenue West, came back onto the roadway, failed to make the curve, and went down a steep embankment and lodged in some trees.
Epperson was not there when deputies arrived.
