BRIEF: Old Point Trust appoints Headley to senior vice president

July 10--Douglas Headley has been appointed senior vice president & wealth management advisor at Old Point Trust, according to a news release.

Headley previously held the position of senior vice president/trust and estate administrator with SunTrust Bank. He has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Kentucky, the news release said.

Doug is also an honors graduate from the American Bankers Association's National Graduate Trust School, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), and a Certified Financial Planner professional, the news release said. He was the past president of the Virginia Peninsula Estate Planning Council.
