BRIEF: Medicare information sessions coming to St. Louis area this week
St. Louis Post-Dispatch (MO)
Sept. 17--More than 200,000 people in the St. Louis region are eligible to enroll in Medicare or change their current plans this fall, according to UnitedHealthcare.
The health insurer is hosting community events to answer questions about Medicare. Blood pressure checks and pharmacy experts will also be available.
Medicare is a government health insurance program for people ages 65 and older and some people with disabilities.
The events are set for 9 a.m. Tuesday at Crestwood Community Center, 9245 Whitecliff Park Lane and 9 a.m. Friday at Nichols Community Center, 515 East D Street in Belleville.
