BRIEF: Gov. Hickenlooper appoints Greeley resident to state board

April 26--Greeley resident Dr. Lesley Clark Brooks has been appointed to serve on the Hospital Provider Fee Oversight and Advisory Board.
The Hospital Provider Fee Oversight and Advisory Board works with the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and the Medical Services Board, according to a news release from the governor's office. Together, they work to develop the hospital provider fee model, monitor the implementation of House Bill 09-1293, help with the preparation of annual reports on this program and ensure that the Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus eligibility expansions are implemented as intended.
Brooks will serve on the board as a member of the health care industry who doesn't represent a hospital or health insurance carrier. Brooks' term will end May 15, 2021.
