BRIEF: Defiance man placed on insurance board

March 21--COLUMBUS -- Joel A. Bokerman of Defiance was recently named by Gov. John Kasich to the 12-member Ohio Fair Plan Underwriting Association Board of Governors through Sept. 18, 2017.

The association seeks to increase access in urban areas to basic property or homeowners' insurance. One of four gubernatorial appointees, he is part owner of Bokerman Yackee Koesters Insurance and Grisier-Roos Insurance.
