BRIEF: Catholic Order of Foresters donates $5,000 to Catholic Charities for flood recovery efforts

Oct. 03--The Catholic Order of Foresters has donated $5,000 to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse to support flood victims. Catholic Charities has already provided $20,000 of assistance to those affected by the recent floods.
"It's sad to see something like this happen, but it's so beautiful to see how people react, and the goodness that comes out of it," said Catholic Charities executive director Roberto Partarrieu. "For every sad story, there are five or six that are good. God works. God works through people."
The Catholic Order of Foresters is a nonprofit Catholic life insurance company headquartered in Naperville, Ill.
