Nov. 29--QUINCY -- Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident near Quincy on Wednesday.
About 11:15 a.m., Yesenia Ruiz-Marmolejo, 20, of Quincy, was driving a 1995 Toyota Corolla south on Road S approaching state Route 28, according to the Washington State Patrol
Ruiz-Marmolejo reportedly struck a 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by John Brissey, 46, of Ephrata, in the Road S/SR-28 intersection. Ruiz-Marmolejo, Brissey and Ruiz-Marmolejo's passenger Monica Marmolejo, 42, of Quincy, and Maria Perez-Flores, 47, of Wenatchee, were injured and transported by ambulance to Quincy Valley Hospital.
Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. Ruiz-Marmolejo was cited for failure to yield, driving without a valid license and driving without insurance, according to the patrol.
