Oct. 15--BOLIVAR -- A Bolivar woman faces multiple charges following a two-car accident on state Route 417, report Amity-based State Police.
Bobbi J. Lutes, 34, of Bolivar was arrested Saturday and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, driving while ability impaired by drugs, and cited for crossing road hazard markings, driving without insurance and failure to keep right following a property damage accident on state Route 417 in the Town of Bolivar.
During the investigation, Troopers determined Lutes had been operating her vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance. Her license had also been suspended on numerous occasions. During the investigation, Troopers reportedly observed two prescription bottles in Lutes' vehicle that did not belong to her. They determined they had been stolen during a burglary that had been reported earlier in the day at a residence on County Road 5B in the town of Wirt.
Lutes was arraigned in Wirt Town Court and remanded to Allegany County Jail on $1,000 cash bail. Lutes was later charged with second-degree burglary, a class-C felony, in connection with the incident in Wirt. A $1,000 cash bail was also set for the additional charge. She is due to appear in Bolivar Town Court in November.
