The Iberia Parish School Board will hold a special meeting Wednesday to consider the board's general liability insurance for the 2023-24 fiscal year.
The agenda item was presented at last week's meeting, but board members decided to defer approving the insurance after the proposed plan had only been submitted to the board the morning of the meeting and the prices showed a drastic increase.
Carmel Breaux will be introducing the insurance plan and explaining the fiscal year insurance plan to the board.
The meeting takes place 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Iberia Parish School Board's administrative office on Jane Street.
