Bloomfield-based health care giant Cigna plans to lay off 2,000 employees worldwide
Feb. 13—The Cigna Group, one of the world's largest health insurers and pharmacy-benefit managers, has confirmed that it plans to lay off approximately 2,000 employees.
"As we drive greater efficiency across our business, we have made the difficult decision to reduce roles in our workforce," Cigna officials said in a written statement this week.
