Berndt & Murfin affiliates with Sherman-Kricker

Oct. 30--Two very familiar names in the insurance business locally have come together. Effective Friday, Sherman-Kricker Insurance has become affiliated with the Berndt & Murfin Insurance Agency for all insurance services.

Dan Cassidy, owner of the Berndt & Murfin Insurance Agency announced the affiliation earlier in the week. He said Sherman-Kricker Insurance has been serving the Scioto County area since 1870. He said the combination will allow the agency to continue its tradition of excellent local service and insurance expertise in today's changing insurance markets.

Cassidy said the affiliation with Berndt & Murfin Insurance will further augment the market capabilities of Sherman-Kricker Insurance and by expanding company relationships, and providing opportunities for new markets, the affiliation will help enhance the ability of both agencies to better serve all clients' insurance needs.

Sherman-Kricker Insurance will continue to operate at 820 Chillicothe Street between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Berndt & Murfin is located at 1031 Gallia Street and Sherman-Kricker at 820 Chillicothe Street.
