Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires Nicoud Insurance Services

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., March 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced the acquisition of Springfield, Illinois-based Nicoud Insurance Services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1985 by Tim and Judy Nicoud, Nicoud Insurance Services is a property/casualty broker and employee benefit consultant providing a broad range of coverages and services to commercial and personal clients across the central United States, with a focus on financial institutions, senior care/healthcare providers and automotive service providers.

Jim Hillestad, Tim Nicoud, Jr. and their associates will continue to operate out of their Springfield and Jefferson City, Missouri locations under the direction of Patrick Gallagher, head of Gallagher's Midwest retail property/casualty brokerage operations, and John Neumaier, head of Gallagher's Great Lakes employee benefits consulting and brokerage operations.
